H.E. Badr Jafar opens The Briefing with Arabian Business and tells business leaders the Gulf’s resilience was not luck but long-term design

Industry leaders gathered this morning for the inaugural The Briefing with Arabian Business, where H.E. Badr Jafar, UAE Special Envoy for Business and Philanthropy, opened with the keynote address.

Jafar emphasised the recent turbulence experienced by the UAE is merely “a chapter of the story, not the whole tale,” noting that the UAE’s stability was a calculated response: “Resilience was never an improvised reaction to crises, but a fundamental building block we were molded upon, through design, planning, and prudent preparedness.”

Speaking before hundreds of CEOs and entrepreneurs, H.E. Badr Jafar described the nation’s response to pressure as the fruit of decades of deliberate strategic engineering, saying: “The UAE’s resilience in crises was never an improvised reaction, but a fundamental building block we were molded upon, through design, planning, and prudent preparedness.”
